Hiyah. I'm 37, married to a fabulous human named Nora, play music in a band called the PromoSexuals, used to be a record producer and glass blower, semi-retired due to Parkinson's disease. Happily moved from seattle to pdx a year ago--woo hoo! Into all genres of music-really! Produced records of everything from Albanian 'ganga' folk music to abstract noise with John Cage-esque 'treated' zither. I study/speak some Irish Gaeilge, probably the oldest surviving branch of Indo-European Celtic. I've played in bands from acoustic folk to noise metal; most time spent playing analog synths and drumkit. Politically Proudly Progressive and advocate of universal health care and federal funding for stem-cell research. HEALTHCARE FACTOID: I broke some toes in Seattle a few years ago.
